Our team reviews your request and sends you a real estimate before any work is scheduled. *How does pricing work?* You'll see an estimate before you approve anything. Nothing is charged until you confirm the estimate, and the final charge only happens after you accept the completed job. *Can I cancel or reschedule?* Yes. Open the job in the app and contact us through that job's chat - we'll help you reschedule or cancel depending on the job's current stage. *How do I know the technician is legitimate?* Every contractor on Aniva is vetted for licensing and insurance before they can accept jobs. You can also check technician ratings and reviews from past jobs right in the app. *What if I'm not happy with the finished work?* Before you accept a completed job, you'll be asked to leave a review. If something isn't right, message us in the job's chat before accepting - our team will step in and help resolve it. *How do refunds work?* Contact us through the app or by email with your job number, and we'll review your case individually. **For Contractors and Technicians** *How do I join Aniva as a contractor?* Sign up in the app, submit your license and insurance information, and select your specialization (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general handyman). Our team reviews every new application before you start receiving leads. *How do leads work?* You receive job requests with a scope of work and estimate already attached - not just a name and a phone number. Accept the ones that fit your schedule and service area. *I'm a solo operator - do I need a separate technician account?* No. Self-employed contractors act as both the contractor and the technician on their own jobs, all from a single account. *How and when do I get paid?* Payment is released to you once the customer accepts the completed job and the payment clears through our payment processor. You can track the status of every job and payment from your dashboard. **Account and Privacy** *How do I update my profile, address, or payment info?* Go to Profile in the app - addresses, phone numbers, email, and payment methods each have their own edit screen. *How do I delete my account?* Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account and confirm. Your account and associated personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
